Austin Lee Dunn 73 of The Villages Fl. passed away on 12/22/15 at 12:18 am. He was born 4/8/1942 In Vincennes Indiana and was the first child of Theopha Jean and William Austin.Austin Was preceded in Death by both Parents, Mother-in-law Martha Eisenhut, Brothers-In-Law Charles Eisenhut, Jim Eisenhut, and Tommy J. Thomas, as well as Sister-in-Law Phyllis McCoy,Austin is survived by Wife Lois Mae (Eisenhut) Dunn, Daughter Tina Dunn, Son Bill Dunn and Fiancee Patty Carnahan, 2 Grandchildren William Burke Emmons and Austin Presley Dunn, Debbie and Max Emmons, Donna Ferrell , Bob and Rose Dunn, Jeanette and Ted Cullop, Donna Thomas, and Sylvester A. McCoy, many Nieces and Nephews, and very close friends.Austin graduated from Lincoln High School, Served in the US Navy, and received his degree from Western Kentucky College of Business. At the time of his retirement he served as President and CEO of Ben Tire Distributors/Neal Tire Company and later served on their Board of Directors. Austin was member of the American Legion, VFW, The Eagles, and the Forty And Eight.A celebration of his life has been planned on 1/23/16 at Duesterberg Fredrick Funeral Home in Vincennes Indiana with Visitation to start at 11 am and services at 1 pm. Robert G. Goldman Sr., Michelle Jones-Hankins, Ruby Marie Lavely, Lawrence Brent Marchino, Kevin Ray Moore, Lawrence E. YarberRobert G. Goldman Sr.Robert G. Goldman Sr., 79, of Vincennes, passed away at 12:10 a.m. on Sunday March 8, 2015 at his residence with his family at his bedside.He was born Feb. 18, 1936 in Posey County, the son of Benjamin Ernest and Martha Gertrude Kelley Goldman. He was a graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in criminology. He was a member of the charter class of the Indiana Police Academy. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and after his tour of duty he began a long career as a police officer. He married Mildred C. Marchino on Dec. 29, 1955 and they made their life together for nearly 60 years. He served his community as an officer and was promoted to Chief of Police where he served during the William Rose administration. He retired as chief in 1988. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, writing poetry and his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.He is survived by his wife, Mildred C. Goldman; their children, Robert G. Goldman Jr, and his wife, Kelly of Vincennes and Keith A. Goldman and his wife, Carol of Vincennes; their grandchildren, Craig Goldman, Jack and Emily Goldman, Kelley and Peter Felt, Robert G. III and Sarah Goldman, Jill Goldman, Britni and Andy Roark, Clint and Olivia Goldman, Kayla and Dan Flaherty, Bethany and Heath Keller; and 16 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Gib, Ray, Ermil Goldman and two brothers in infancy; and his sisters, Beatrice Stallings, Opal Murry, Ann Edwards, Jean Burke, Joyce Harrington, and Pauline Cornwell.Funeral services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at the Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home, 521 Vigo St., with Dr. Austin Muranaka officiating.
